At the festival\, British\, Italian\, Romanian\, and Hungarian Roma artists demonstrated through stand-up performances\, satirical monodramas\, live arts\, music\, and Q&A sessions how humor can become a weapon that liberates theater from the captivity of drama and victimhood.   \nThe festival’s stand-up shows and monodramas will also be available online on the HowlRound platform from September 14 to 19.  \n\n“Hi! Where are you from?\nAre you Bosnian? Serbian? Macedonian? Ukrainian?\nI don’t know… maybe… I think I’m Italian.\nAre you Roma? … Roman!”Stand-up comedy from here and there\, from the suburbs and everywhere.\nIf you feel like a strange creature\, come check us out!
