As part of the Theater in One Car<\/a> <\/strong>project, our performance The Best Village<\/a><\/em> was created. As our devoted followers may already know, it\u2019s not only the artists of Independent Theatre Hungary who have produced outstanding performances, but also the Basca Theatre <\/strong>from Romania and the Mikser Theatre<\/strong> from Serbia, who have created their own productions. <\/p>\n\n

Supported by the European Union<\/strong>, the project aims to create sustainable, eco-friendly, and cost-effective theatre performances in which two actors play multiple roles \u2014 and the entire production fits into a single car.<\/p>\n\n

Now, we have a special opportunity: the Mikser Theatre\u2019s<\/strong> production SEEKING HOME<\/em> is coming to Budapest,<\/strong> at E\u00f6tv\u00f6s10<\/a><\/strong> (1067 Budapest, E\u00f6tv\u00f6s utca 10) on November 30.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Where do we belong? What is home? <\/em> These questions \u2014 which concern us all \u2014 are at the heart of this performance, inspired by Jelena Vladu\u0161i\u0107\u2019s<\/strong> doctoral dissertation. Through photographs, the play tells the stories of the people \u2014 women, men, and children \u2014 who left the Balkans throughout history in search of a new life. Actresses Andrijana Dragni\u0107<\/strong> and Jana Dekanski<\/strong> take on multiple roles in a space that transforms before the audience\u2019s eyes.<\/p>\n\n
