On September 7, we invite everyone interested to join a special, interactive Forum Theatre workshop at Independent Theater Hungary in Budapest.<\/p>\n\n

During the four-hour workshop, conducted in English, participants will explore Theatre of the Oppressed and the Forum Theatre method developed by Augusto Boal. The method is based on addressing social issues, injustices and human rights questions, creating an opportunity for participants to think together about the possibilities for change. <\/p>\n\n

In Forum Theatre, the audience is not merely a spectator: they can become an active participant. They can step onto the stage, interrupt scenes and try out different solutions from the perspective of the oppressor, the oppressed or even a bystander. <\/p>\n\n

The workshop will be led by Ana Ursu, one of the founders of Basca Theatre in Timi\u0219oara. Through practical exercises and collective reflection, she will demonstrate how theatre can become a tool for social dialogue, community learning and challenging deeply ingrained social patterns. <\/p>\n\n
